More info about prices

Here's some new info about rates at Bissell's Hideaway:

It seems that some of the early birds did NOT get the reunion discount when they booked. There was also a question about whether we would be paying weekday prices and weekend rates.

Here is what Ed at Bissell's agreed when I spoke with him yesterday.

We will be charged the two different rates (for weekday and weekend) but he is increasing the four-day discount to 30% and the three-day discount to 25%. For example, a four-day booking for a serviced campsite will cost $255, including taxes, and a three-day booking will be $209, including taxes. This includes access to ALL park facilities.

The people who have already booked should see discounts applied to their credit cards. If not, call Ed.

Send photos

As preparation for the reunion, we are working to create a family tree, with photos.

Whether you are coming or not, we need your pictures and your info!

Please send a photo or photos of EVERYONE in your family, whether they were born or married into the VanZeumeren clan.

Recent photos are best. They can be individual photos or family photos, professional portraits or snapshots. We will be cropping headshots out of the photos, so a clear image of each face is best. Feel free to include boyfriends or girlfriends, especially if they're coming to the reunion.

Please include the names of all your family members, their connection to one of the original immigrants (Meta, Bert, John, Henk, Herman, Irene or Elly) and year of birth.

Time to book

Lori and Bruce have booked their site for the reunion. They are on camping site 151. Other bookings are trickling in.

Now it's time for you to book your cabin or campsite. Book directly with Bissell's Hideaway by calling 1-888-236-0619.

1. Who is coming from your family.

2. The ages of all people under 18.

3. Your accomodations: camping or cabin and site number.

4. How many from your group will be golfing on Friday (this is just for information, not a commitment yet).

5. Any musical instrument(s) you play and your ability/willingness to participate in a Sunday morning worship service.

6. Your interest in participating in a Friday evening talent show.

 

We have lots of fun ideas and activities in the planning, but most of all, we look forward to socializing with everyone!
